For her most recent work, Edwina Ellis has devised a modular relief printing system using offset and transfer processes for the relief platen press. Alongside the art works will be exhibited press materials – chases, registration whatsits, plates and lino blocks – and antiquarian books on colour relief printing directly from the wood, or configured by machines, which have relevant to the artist's research.
