Ceramic ArchiveThe Ceramic Archive is a research resource established from a need to collect archive material which would contribute additional means for understanding and interpreting the work in the Collection and, more broadly the history of studio ceramics. In 1988, the Craft Potters Association Archive was donated to the University and this greatly expanded the scope of the Archive. The Craft Potters Association Archive contained a large body of documents, most importantly those papers relating to the origins of the CPA, publicity for ceramics exhibitions, auction room catalogues, potters' suppliers and information about individual potters and potteries, as well as audio-visual material collected and made by the CPA. These latter donations confirmed the direction in which the University of Wales Ceramic Archive has developed since the 1980s.
