The School of Art Gallery stages periodic exhibitions from the art collections alongside national touring exhibitions, shows by invited artists, and staff and students of the School of Art. Each year the School also publishes a small number of books, catalogues and postcards to support its programme of exhibitions.

Each year the School of Art and the Ceramics Gallery stage up to ten exhibitions from the Collection, touring shows and exhibitions by invited artists; on occasions we collaborate with private galleries or the artists themselves. Exhibitions arranged by the School have also toured to major public galleries and museums throughout the UK.
