Klaus Friedeberger: Recent Works19 October – 27 November 2009
Friedeberger was born in Berlin in 1922, arrived in Britain as a refugee in 1939 and was sent as an internee aboard the Dunera to Australia. He exhibited as an Australian artist in Britain in the fifties and early sixties. He lives and works in south London.
This exhibition has been curated by Simon Pierse and is to be opened by Stephen Coppel, Curator of the Modern Collection, Department of Prints and Drawings, British Museum, on Saturday 24 October 2009.
