Painter. After attending Haverfordwest Grammar School he studied at Loughborough College of Art, 1966-67, Kingston Upon Thames College of Art, 1967-70, and the Royal College of Art, 1970-73, being taught at the latter by Ruskin Spear (1911-1990) and Carel Weight (1908-1997). A traditionalist for his time, his landscapes of Britain and Greece, in watercolour and oil, explore the effects of sunlight with a subtle use of often quite vibrant colours. He has also worked on murals and his painting 'The Golden Valley' was commissioned for Lord Richard Attenborough's film 'Shadowlands'. He was elected a Member of The New English Art Club in 2000 but has also been a long standing member of the Royal Watercolour Society serving as President, 1984-87, and as a Trustee, 1983-1995
