Born: 1953, UK, England, Lincolnshire

Photographer and writer. Graduated in psychology in 1975 before working as a gardener and on a nature reserve in Nottinghamshire. In 1977 he moved to Mid-Wales where he was employed in countryside management and became an active environmentalist and writer on green issues. A self-taught photographer, he slowly turned to photography as a career in the early 1980s and since 1986 has produced an annual set of landscape postcards under the business title 'Wild Wales/Cymru Wyllt'. He works principally in colour and is co-author of the photo books 'Wales - the Lie of the Land', 1997, 'Heart of the Country', 2003, and 'Wales at Water’s Edge / Cymru ar Hyd ei Glannau”, 2012 - all published by Gomer Press, Llandysul. He lives and works near Aberystwyth.
