Ceramicist. Sada received a degree in Chemistry from the Chemisches Institut Dr. Flad, Stuttgart, in 1987 and worked for 12 years as a research technician. She then studied for her BA in 3D-Design Ceramics at Bath Spa University, Bath, 2003, and at the Royal College of Art, London, for her MA in Ceramics and Glass, 2005. She creates works such as colourful plates and vases in which she combines her passion for ceramics and abstract painting. In installations such as ‘House of Cards’, 2004, and her series ‘StoryTellers’, she takes up the concept of ‘Heimat’, home, and its fragility. She exhibits and lectures internationally and was, for example, the ceramics artist at the International Ceramic Art Festival, Sasama, Japan in 2015. Her awards include the 2012 Ceramic Review Award, Ceramic Art London, and the Jurors Choice at the 5th World Biennale CEBIKO, Icheon, South Korea, 2009.
