Born: 1978, UK, England, London

Printmaker. Studied for a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Cardiff School of Art and Design from 2003-6, followed by an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Art from 2008-10. She has been features in numerous group exhibitions across the UK, and held a solo exhibition at Travellers in Mind Gallery, Barry, in 2008 titled ‘South Wales Estates’. She has won several awards for her work including the Welsh Assembly Government Award from Cardiff School of Art and Design, 2006, Welsh Artist of the year: Student Award, 2006 and Welsh Artist of the Year: Printmaking Award, 2008. She has many works stored in private collections in the UK. According to her artist statement, her work “examines the fun and reckless working-class lifestyle and environment of urban council estates, mostly situated on streets and within domestic interiors. These spaces are often filled with gatherings of people, dogs and abandoned vehicles, all of which are motifs in my work. I portray the careless, spontaneous and casual behaviour and attitudes of the people within the spaces.” She continues to live and work in her hometown of Camberwell, London.
