Born: 1968, UK, Scotland, Glasgow

Printmaker working in lithography and digital printmaking. Studied drawing and painting at the Edinburgh College of Art, 1986-90, where he stayed for postgraduate study between 1990 and 1991. In 1995 he attended the summer workshop at the Tamarind Institute of Lithography, New Mexico. He began working as a studio technician at Edinburgh Printmakers in 1992 before being appointed Studio Co-ordinator in 2003, a role that saw him collaborating with artists, and then Assistant Director in 2006. Between 1995 and 2003 he also lectured part-time at Edinburgh College of Art. His work explores weather, combining mark-making with digital and photographic imagery from meteorology.
