Bronwyn Williams-Ellis

Born: 1953, UK, England

Ceramicist. A graduate of Cardiff College of Art where she completed her BA and MA, she now runs a workshop in Bath. She is best known for her tile projects for both public and private commissions, but she also makes thrown ware and large scale objects. She grew up in Ireland but has strong Welsh connections and is a member of a practical and creative family who include, her grandfather, Clough Williams-Ellis, the architect and creator of Portmeirion village and his daughter Susan Williams-Ellis who founded Portmeirion Pottery
