Calligraphy, 'Summer Dawn' by William Morris (1834-1896), 'Pray but one prayer for me twixt thy closed lips'. Counter space of the letter 'P' is used to continue the first word 'Pray'. Alternating use of blue and green inks for words of first line and first letters of each line. Red ink used for author's name. Paper slightly stained
