On the left a seated prince holds the right hand of a seated princess and places his left hand around her waist. He has long, auburn hair and wears a crown and fur-lined tunic. She has long, blond hair and wears a red dress with a blue and gold robe. Drapes hang above them. In the middleground, on the right, are four men, each holding a drinking horn, who stand from a dinner table to hail the prince and princess. In the background are large arches, supported by pillars of double columns, through which can be seen sea cliffs. Painted in light washes with detail for prince and princess.
