Picturesque landscape in Snowdonia; foreground, grass, rocks and, in the centre, a figure on horseback (female riding side-saddle?); middleground, autumn trees and, on the left, a mountain slope with rocky crags; background, the rugged mountains of Glyder Fach and Tryfan; sky, cumulus. Painted with gentle washes with body colour for foreground. Some pencil underdrawing. Mount has a hand-drawn grey border and some foxing
