Jupiter, in the form of the huntress Diana, approaches Calista in a secluded grove. Both wear fine dresses. Calista's bow lies at her feet and her quiver of arrows under her left hand. A black bird of prey or eagle stands at the feet of Jupiter and a cherub, with bow, looks on with a hushing finger held to their lips. A circular stipple engraving with engraved verse below.
