Nocturne of Stonehenge; foreground, grass; middleground, a Neolithic circle of stones; background; open country with a track, distant hills and a flat horizon; sky, a full moon with patchy high cloud. Slight gradation and a faint horizontal grain in the sky. Printed in four greens, black, dark grey and three blue-greys. A Japanese monogram with calligraphy, in black and red, has been printed in the lower left corner
