CeramicsOur superb collection of studio ceramics is housed and displayed in the Ceramics Gallery at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on the University campus. On display are the collections of studio pottery, slipware (mainly from Buckley and Ewenny), Swansea and Nantgarw porcelain, and selected examples of contemporary ceramics. The School of Art houses other ceramic collections that are available for study by appointment: works from the George Powell Bequest, archaeological pottery (Greek, Egyptian and Romano-British), 18th-century Delft (mainly British), Art Pottery, ceramic figures of the 1920s and 1930s, and Japanese ceramics that include Satsuma and Bizenware.
